Why We Started
Bohling Protective Services was formed due to the mass consolidation in the security industry over the past decade. During that time frame, it became apparent that customers and employees were being left behind. For a security program to be truly successful, they need to invest their time in getting to know the client’s operation and culture. If that does not occur, it is impossible for a provider to select and train security professionals for their property.
Bohling Protective Services believes in old-fashioned customer service. We meet with our clients face-to-face on a regular basis to ensure the program is exceeding your needs.

Our Executive Team
Jackie Bohling
Chief Executive Officer
Jackie has been in the security industry since 1990. Jackie began her career working for Compaq Computer Corporation in Houston, Texas. She quickly rose through the ranks and was an integral part in the creation of a new concept in the security industry, Barton N2000. This market segment focused on transitioning in-house security programs to contract security which provided above market wages, health insurance and retirement benefits. Jackie focuses her efforts on quality assurance, customer relations, and training.
Jeff Bohling
President
Jeff Bohling is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the security industry. Prior to the founding of Bohling Protective Services, LLC, Jeff was the President and Chief Operating Officer for Norred & Associates for over 17 years. Jeff is considered an industry expert in security operations, corporate investigations, labor disputes and executive protection. Jeff has an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University.
Kelvin Smith
Director of Operations
Kelvin Smith is a native Georgian and served eight years in the United States Marine Corps. Kelvin has over fifteen years of experience in the contract security industry. As Director of Operations, Kelvin develops training programs specific to your facility along with quality control programs to exceed our customer expectations. Kelvin is a state certified trainer in Georgia for both classroom and firearm instruction. Kelvin and Jeff have worked together for nearly fifteen years.
Jack Bohling
Operations Manager
Growing up in the security industry, Jack experienced unique insights into the security profession, creating an ongoing interest in the industry. Throughout his college summers, he would return to Atlanta and work posts for various clients. Prior to joining Bohling Protective Services, Jack worked in business valuations, providing valuation services for both domestic and international entities. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is in the process of completing his Master of Business Administration at the University of Georgia.
